Since it started in 2008, the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer people’s choice poll has revealed the consumer trends and breweries shaping the Australian craft beer landscape.
Each year, craft beer loving consumers are asked to select, in order of preference, their five favourite craft beers of the year. Sounds like it should be a simple process right? Well when you have hundreds of breweries from across Australia and thousands of incredible craft beers to choose, from it can be an agonising and challenging task.
Now considered one of the biggest polls of its type in the world, the campaign makes conversations about craft beer the topic of the day. With an average of 30% of the list rotating each year, it introduces new craft consumers to beers they may never have been exposed to before and is celebrated at sell out live countdown parties around the country!

On Saturday 25th January, official countdown parties will be held around the country as craft beer fans come out en masse for a fun filled day of celebrating beer with mates! The GABS Hottest 100 Countdown Host venues will have the taps flowing, tunes playing, prizes to be won and most of all, good times to be had as beer becomes the conversational topic of the day.
